“Yet give attention to your servant's prayer and his plea for mercy, O Lord my God. Hear the cry and the prayer that your servant is praying in your presence.”

2 Chronicles 6:19

CommPres Peace Candle

 The Red Peace Candle

The red peace candle burning near the pulpit was sent to us by the soldiers of the First Infantry Division, Division Artillery when they occupied Camp Summerall in Iraq. Community Presbyterian prayed for the men and women of DIVARTY during their year in Iraq. The First Infantry has thankfully returned home, but its candle, adorned with the DIVARTY crests, remains. It continues to represent all the services and all those who serve in uniform today. Please pray daily for these women and men, who serve in harm's way.

 Prayer Requests Minimize

We at Community Pres know the power of prayer.  We invite you to share your burdens, your worries, and your joys with us so that we may lift you up to the Lord.  Members of our staff and prayer team meet each week-day morning at 9:30 AM to pray.  We welcome your prayer requests and your participation with us.

When sending an email with your prayer request, please designate the subject line: Prayer Request: For (Health, Job, Personal, etc.) Situation.  Please send emails to prayerteam@commpres.com.
