Proper nurturing provides the capacity for personal growth. The Adult Ministries Team is committed to Experience and Share Jesus Christ through bible study, fellowship and service to encourage personal growth and ministry.

Adult Sunday School

This is an ongoing program that meets from 9:30-10:45 AM in the St. Andrew Room. Classes will meet from September through May.

Women’s Ministries

  • Annual Weekend Retreat – growing together in spiritual purpose during a weekend away in the winter or spring
  • A Day of Reflection – a one-day “retreat” held on the church campus, usually in the fall
  • Annual Christmas Gathering – a festive get-together that includes a devotional message, food and fellowship
  • Sweet Summer Evenings – fellowship and devotion to keep women connected during the summer
  • Service opportunities: Vary by group; past service opportunities have included providing meals and cleaning service for neighbors, serving at The Daily Bread soup kitchen, and service at a local women’s shelter and children’s home

Decipleship

  • A group of women meet at IHOP to share breakfast, fellowship and prayer. All women are welcomed at 7:15 AM.

Men's Ministries

  • Annual Retreat – a weekend away, focused on growing in relationship to God and each other
  • Second Saturday Breakfast and Gathering of Men – guys-cook-for-you followed by a speaker who challenges guys to grow in their faith
  • Promise Keepers – annual trek to worship and learn with other men of faith
  • Service opportunities: Vary by group. Past opportunities have included setting up and breaking down the facility for special events, including Wednesday nights, and support to a neighbor in crisis.

9:30 AM Sunday School starting on 3/4 Coming Sunday March 4tha new Sunday School class entitled “Path to the Cross”.  Discover how God’s people and their passionate faith prepared the way for Jesus and his ultimate act of obedience and sacrifice at the cross.  Then be challenged in your own life to live by every word that comes from the mouth of God.

 Introducing Celebrate Marriage Community Presbyterian is excited to announce a new marriage ministry: Celebrate Marriage. This ministry is designed to provide resources and encouragement to married couples here at our church and ultimately throughout Celebration. Our goal is to host 4 events a year, one of which will be the Art of Marriage. Our first event will be "The Tale of Two Brains" from Mark Gungor's Laugh Your Way to a Better Marriage, so mark your calendars and make plans to attend 3/10 from 6:00—8:30 PM.
