Welcome to Kids Khoir!
Spring 2012 promises to be a great Kids Khoir Season! Kids Khoir meets Fridays – 4:30 to 5:30 in the Sanctuary. We follow the Osceola School calendar and DO NOT meet when school is not in session. There are several days in the spring where we will practice on Wednesday’s at 5:30 due to school holidays. This will provide the practice time needed for the Spring musical. All of these dates are detailed out on the back of this letter for your planning purposes.
Our Children participate in the 9:30 Worship service the 2ndSunday of each month. We meet in the sanctuary at 9:15. We hope you and your family will join us in Worship as the kids help to lead us in song.
The Kids Khoir team prayerfully considers solo opportunities each season. Our goal is to teach to the love of Christ and commitment to Christ to your kids through song and programming. Kids Khoir is a commitment. We do review practice and Worship participation attendance when we provide solo opportunities.
The Spring Musical – Jonah’s Druthers - will be part of the 11AM Worship service on Sunday, May 6h. There is an opportunity for children from second to fifth grade to participate in drama. Drama participants are required to attend additional practices (usually until 6PM on Fridays – sometimes 6:30PM) and are required to memorize their lines. Drama is tons of fun – just requires a little extra work at home. Drama tryouts will be on Friday, January 20th- 5:30 to 6:15. A mandatory parent and kids meeting will be held at 6:15 for those wishing to participate.
The Kids Khoir team is always energized each week by the love and energy of your children. Thank you for sharing them with us.
